LIBRARY/ E-Book of the Month – Tectonic Geomorphology
Our featured e-book for October is Tectonic Geomorphology, which focuses on the current understanding of the dynamic interplay between surface processes and active tectonics. Ranging from the timescales of individual earthquakes to the growth and decay of mountain belts, it provides a synthesis of modern research for both students and practicing geologists.

On behalf of the geoscience community, a delegation of representatives will attend the 26th United Nations Conference of the Parties (COP26) to observe negotiations and represent the role of the geosciences during international climate policy negotiations. EDUCATION/ Geoscience fun packs for children from income deprived areas
Thanks to funding for the Year of Space 2021, our Education team have recently created 400 geoscience fun packs, which will be distributed to children and families from income deprived areas via a food distribution network facilitated by RacketsCubed and the Felix Project.
The packs feature merchandise from the UK Space Agency, including an astronaut handbook, geoscience factsheets and activity sheet, badges, a rock set and a make your own solar system pack.
